A Facelift helps a Person look Younger
A variety of reasons affect how a person looks –aging, genetics, a stressful lifestyle, and environmental factors all play a role. A facelift by Dr. Huo help a person revert back to the rejuvenated, younger, look they remember. They still look like themselves, just refreshed!
As a person ages, we lose the deep facial fat we associate with a youthful look. As a result of this facial fat loss, the skin and muscles of the face begin to sag. To make matters worse, the fat in the jowls and under the chin may increase as we age. With time, our faces go from being “heart-shaped” to “square”. In addition, skin loses elasticity as we age and is prone to showing signs of sun damage. Facial muscles sag and bone loss occurs. Without surgical correction, the passage of time gives us all an “aged” look.
PDO THREADS (POLYDIOXANONE)
Polydioxanone is used for biomedical applications, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery because it is fully absorbed by hydrolysis within 4 to 6 months & doesn’t create any scar tissue. The foreign body stimulates collagen synthesis & the skin structure created will hold for another 12 to 15 months.
A PDO thread lift is a type of face lift that is often referred to as the “lunch hour lift”. This is due to its simplicity and the time it takes to carry out the procedure. A tiny entry will be made in the desired location on the face then fine threads are advanced along pre-marked contours. Once the threads are inserted, your body then starts to produce new bundles of collagen which surround each thread and this in turn creates a subtle yet effective lift. The results differ for each person, but look very natural giving a rejuvenated and refreshed look. There is no scaring and recovery times are a lot less than those associated with traditional surgery.

A Necklift can help a Person look significantly Younger
A Necklift, as part of a facelift, or as a separate procedure alone, can help a patient look significantly younger. As people age, their muscles weaken, their skin loses elasticity, and the jowls often see an increase in fat. The face becomes “square” losing the “heart shape” contour we had in our youth. Patients usually notice these changes in the profile photographs of their neck. When they start to see that “turkey neck,” in a photo or in person, it is usually time to consider a necklift.
In most patients, the neck looks old because of skin laxity and sagging of the platysma muscles. This process creates visible, vertical bands in the neck, e.g. the turkey neck. These problems can be corrected by removal of excess skin, and tightening of the platysma muscles.
In addition to aging at the skin and platysma level, aging can also occur at the deeper levels of the neck such as the sub-platysma fat, digastric muscles, and submandibular glands. Unlike many surgeons, Dr Kelly is comfortable with the surgical correction of these areas as well.
